The problem

Security data isn't ready for what teams now ask of it.

Detection, investigation, compliance, and now AI agents triaging alerts in the SOC. All of it depends on data that's clean, structured, and usable. Most of it isn't.

Realm sits upstream, where data is still raw, and makes it ready for everything downstream: your SIEM, your detections, and the AI now entering the SOC. Those tools are only as good as the data feeding them. That's the layer we own.

What we look for

Who you are matters more than your title.

We're growing fast. At this stage there's nowhere to hide and nothing to coast on, which is the point. The people who do well here tend to share a few things.

You want scope, not a lane.

You'd rather own a problem end to end than be handed a narrow slice. Here you'll get more surface area than your title suggests, fast.

You're allergic to hand-waving.

You care whether the thing actually works, not whether the slide looks good. We sell on proof, not promises, and we build the same way.

You like the early part.

The messy, undefined, no-playbook part. The category is being written right now and you want to hold the pen, not inherit someone else's.

You make the people around you better.

Low ego, high standards. We're small enough that one person's habits set the tone for everyone. We hire for that on purpose.

Our team comes out of Rapid7, Carbon Black, Menlo, and Devo. They've built security companies, scaled them, and watched the category shift firsthand. You won't inherit someone else's playbook. You'll help write the next one, next to people worth learning from.
